Robert A. Feldman
I attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a minor in Computer Science in 1994. I then attended the University of Miami and obtained my Law Degree, with honors, in 1997.
I was admitted to the Florida Bar in October, 1997 and I've been practicing law since that time. I'm qualified to practice in state court throughout the state of Florida and in federal court in the Southern District of Florida. My main area of practice is in consumer bankruptcy law with a focus on protecting debtor's rights. I've personally handled thousands of bankruptcy cases, as well as hundreds of divorce and family law matters.
I'm a member of the following organizations: the Florida Bar, the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Phi Beta Kappa, and the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi.
I'm an avid jogger. Now don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not anywhere near being in the class of a marathon runner (really, who would want to be, right?), but it allows me to stay in shape. I also like playing racquetball, but I unfortunately haven't been able to get to the court nearly as much as I used to. As far as less strenuous hobbies, I really enjoy playing board games, putting together puzzles, and watching TV with my family.
